Move-in and move-out cleans are different animals from regular maintenance cleaning. There's no furniture to work around. There's a checklist in someone else's head that you need to beat. There's a deposit on the line, or a buyer's first walk-through, or a family about to unload a truck full of boxes into a place they'd like to feel good about.
Our move-out clean is built around the landlord's inspection list, not ours. Baseboards, cabinet interiors, inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, the tracks on the sliding door, the grout in the master bath, the corners of the closet floors that the previous tenant never saw. Every place a property manager puts their flashlight.

Questions we get asked a lot
Can you clean before I move out, or after?
We can do either, but the best move-out clean happens after all your furniture and belongings are out. An empty home gets a thoroughly better clean than a home with boxes and furniture still in it. If you need us to clean around your stuff, that's fine too - we'll just let you know which corners we can't reach.
Will your cleaning pass a landlord inspection?
Our move-out scope is built specifically around what landlords and property managers check. We don't cut corners on the things that cost tenants their deposits - oven interiors, refrigerator interiors, baseboards, grout, sliding door tracks, cabinet interiors. If you have a specific landlord checklist, send it to us and we'll match it.
How far in advance should I book?
Move-out season (late spring through early fall) books up fast in the Valley, especially around college move-out weeks in Harrisonburg and Lexington. A week or two of notice is ideal. That said, we do our best to accommodate last-minute requests - call us and we'll see what we can do.
Is move-in cleaning different from move-out cleaning?
Same level of detail, different framing. Move-in cleans are scoped around welcoming the new occupant into a genuinely clean space. Move-out cleans are scoped around passing a landlord inspection. Either way, the work covers the full home down to the baseboards, cabinets, and grout.
Do you clean inside cabinets and drawers?
Yes - that's a standard part of our move-in/move-out scope. Kitchen drawers vacuumed and wiped, kitchen cabinets cleaned inside and out, bathroom vanity interiors wiped. This is one of the most commonly skipped items on cheaper move-out services and one of the most commonly checked items by landlords.
Can you come during my closing or property inspection?
Depends on logistics. If the inspection requires the home to be empty and clean, we'll schedule to finish before the inspection window opens. If you need us there during the walkthrough to discuss our work, we can try to accommodate. Just tell us the timeline when booking.
